CLS annunciano il loro Super Green Team 2014!
Team CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy Pro Circuit obiettivo per vittorie e podi nei GP sia nel FIM Campionato Mondiale Motocross MX1 e MX2 nel 2014 con un totale di quattro piloti in prima linea.

La stagione in corso è stato un ricostruire per la Kawasaki Monster Energy Team CLS Pro Circuit, dopo diversi anni di grande successo con una serie di vittorie GP insieme a Steven Frossard, Joel Roelants, Christophe Pourcel e Tommy Searle attuale numero uno britannico con il passaggio alla classe MX1 quest’anno, dopo la sua serie MX2 medaglia d’argento nel 2012, ha sfiorato il podio in diverse occasioni durante la sua stagione da rookie. La squadra era disperatamente sfortunata a perdere i servizi di MX2 leader della squadra con Arnaud Tonus a inizio stagione, ma il collega esordiente Alessandro Lupino ha già segnato due podi con la squadra e lo attende per il 2014 con un solo cambio di line-up con l’ adolescente Dylan Ferrandis che si unisce alla squadra.

Team CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy Pro Circuit è stato confermato come team ufficiale Kawasaki nel mondiale MX2 l’anno prossimo ed è fiducioso di gloria con tre dei piloti più bravi della classe – Tonus, che tornerà a correre la prossima settimana in Gran Bretagna, Lupino e da lungo tempo pilota Kawasaki Ferrandis; l’adolescente francese ha segnato una seconda posizione fantastica nel suo GP di casa nel mese di giugno.

Il team continuerà il suo coinvolgimento nella classe MX1 con Tommy Searle, entrambi con il team hanno imparato molto in questa stagione, dovrà affrontare la prossima stagione con più sostegno da Kawasaki Heavy Industries, e ogni squadra avrà una struttura separata; Harrie Van Hout ( MX2) e Harry Nolte (MX1), sarà ancora una volta la gestione dei team e mantenere il loro personale tecnico dedicato.

Jean Jacques Luisetti (proprietario del team): “Sono molto felice di continuare a lavorare con gli stessi piloti e lo stesso personale, e inoltre lieto di accogliere Dylan Ferrandis, già un promettente pilota Kawasaki, alla squadra. Arnaud Tonus sarà pronto a tornare a correre il prossimo fine settimana in Gran Bretagna, le sue preoccupazioni sugli infortuni sono passati ora che hanno rimosso il perno dalla gamba. Alessandro è cresciuto in fiducia quest’anno e con questi tre piloti siamo pronti a finire tra i primi tre il prossimo anno nella categoria MX2. Nella classe MX1 ci aspettavamo un risultato top five quest’anno con Tommy e siamo vicini a questa posizione, abbiamo imparato molto quest’anno e sono sicuro che il prossimo anno si possa raggiungere un podio con lui, ha solo 24 anni ed è stato il miglior ‘rookie’ in questa stagione, grazie al suo spirito da corsa leggendaria. Voglio ringraziare tutti i nostri sponsor, con una menzione speciale per la Kawasaki e Monster Energy che aumentano il loro sostegno, ma può essere sicuro che faremo tutto il nostro meglio per raggiungere i risultati da podio in entrambe le classi la prossima stagione “.

Dylan Ferrandis: “Sono felice di far parte del team CLS per il prossimo anno, è sempre stato un sogno per me guidare una Kawasaki Pro Circuit. Sono sicuro che avremo materiale molto buono, con un forte sostegno da parte di Kawasaki e PC, non ho provato ancora la moto, ma ho gareggiato con Kawasaki per molti anni, quindi so che la mia moto sarà buona come qualsiasi cosa in pista. Il mio primo obiettivo sarà quello di avere un forte inverno, negli ultimi due anni ho sofferto di infortuni – spalla nel 2011 e gamba nel 2012 – e quest’anno sono stato solo in grado di tornare in sella alla fine di febbraio. Sono convinto che se ho un buon programma invernale il 2014 sarà diverso, quest’anno ho ottenuto un podio in Francia, ma sono sicuro che se comincio la stagione pienamente preparato mi batterò per il podio quasi ogni fine settimana “.

Harrie Van Hout (MX2 Manager): “Sarà una grande sfida per avere tre piloti in squadra, ma noi siamo pronti per questo ed è bello avere tre piloti che possono segnare i migliori risultati. Quest’anno è stata dura con l’infortunio di Arnaud, così abbiamo lavorato principalmente con Alessandro che sta ancora imparando e migliorando ogni settimana. Ora sappiamo meglio e di sicuro inizieremo la prossima stagione su una base più alta; dovremo iniziare a lavorare con Arnaud la prossima settimana, così avremo tempo per essere pienamente preparati per la prossima stagione. Per quanto riguarda Dylan lo faremo iniziare a lavorare insieme nel mese di novembre, quando il suo contratto attuale scade, e avremo un forte programma invernale per preparare con i nostri piloti il prossimo anno. A gennaio inizieremo la stagione nel sud della Francia, in Spagna o in Sardegna, abbiamo bisogno di fare un rigoroso programma di test in buone condizioni. Lavorare con tre piloti sarà diverso, ma sono sicuro che possiamo farcela “.

Harry Nolte (MX1 Manager): “Abbiamo imparato molto nella nostra prima stagione con Tommy nella classe MX1, e di sicuro questa esperienza ci aiuterà in futuro, Tommy ha trascorso qualche tempo negli Stati Uniti lo scorso inverno, e alla fine di questo, non ci aiutano a preparare la campagna GP perché Tommy non aveva molta esperienza sul 450. Abbiamo visto quanto velocemente i suoi risultati sono migliorati, da metà stagione è stato un regolare contendente per il podio. Lui non ne ha avuto uno ancora per la sua mancanza di esperienza nella classe, un po ‘di sfortuna, ma sono sicuro che il primo podio arriverà molto presto, qui in Belgio o la prossima settimana in Inghilterra. L’anno prossimo avremo il pieno sostegno della Factory Kawasaki, e di sicuro con il supporto di KHI e Pro Circuit saremo ancora più forti; Tommy inoltre avrà più esperienza, e sono convinto che sarà forte nella MX1 come era nella classe MX2 “.

Steve Guttridge (Kawasaki Motors Europe Race Planning Manager): “Sono molto fiducioso che Tommy può fare la prossima tappa della sua carriera in MX1 la prossima stagione, che è quello di fare il podio regolarmente e lottare per la vittoria. La nostra MX2 line-up con il talentuoso Dylan Ferrandis che si unirà con Lupino più esperto e un Tonus in piena forma sarà di sicuro ottimo per portare in Kawasaki alcuni risultati entusiasmanti nella prossima stagione “.

CLS announce their Super Green 2014 Team!
The current season was one of rebuilding for the CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy Pro Circuit team after several years of outstanding success with a series of GP victories by Steven Frossard, Joel Roelants, Christophe Pourcel and Tommy Searle. British number one Searle, switching to the MX1 class this year after his MX2 series silver medal in 2012, has narrowly missed the podium on several occasions during his rookie season. The team was desperately unlucky to lose the services of MX2 team leader Arnaud Tonus early in the season, but fellow newcomer Alessandro Lupino has already scored two podium results as the team looks forward to 2014 with just one change in the line-up as exciting teenager Dylan Ferrandis joins the squad.

Team CLS Kawasaki Monster Energy Pro Circuit has been confirmed as Kawasaki’s official team in the MX2 world championship next year and is confident of glory with three of the most talented riders in the class – Tonus, who will return to racing next week in Great Britain, Lupino and long time Kawasaki rider Ferrandis; the French teenager scored a fantastic second position in his home GP in June.

The team will continue his involvement in the MX1 class with Searle; both Tommy and the team learnt a lot this season, and will face next season with more support from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and each team will have a separate structure; Harrie Van Hout (MX2) and Harry Nolte (MX1) will be again manage the teams and retain their dedicated technical staff.

Jean Jacques Luisetti (team owner): “I’m very happy to continue working with the same riders and the same staff, and also pleased to welcome Dylan Ferrandis, already a promising Kawasaki rider, to the team. Arnaud Tonus will be back racing next weekend in Great Britain; his injury concerns are behind now that they have removed the pin from his leg. Alessandro has grown in confidence this year and with these three riders we are ready to finish in the top three next year in the MX2 category. In the MX1 class we were expecting a top five result this year with Tommy and we are close to this position; we have each learnt a lot this year and I’m sure that next year we can reach a podium with him, he is only 24 years old and was the best ‘rookie’ this season, thanks to his legendary racing spirit. I want to thank all our sponsors, with a special mention for Kawasaki and Monster Energy who each increased their support; they can be sure that we will all do our best to reach podium results in both classes next season.”

Dylan Ferrandis: “I’m happy to join the CLS team for the next year; it has always been a dream for me to ride a Kawasaki Pro Circuit. I’m sure that we’ll have very good material, with a strong support from Kawasaki and PC; I didn’t test the bike yet, but I have been racing Kawasaki for many years so I know that my bike will be as good as anything on the track. My first goal will be to have a strong winter as the past two years I have suffered with injuries – shoulder in 2011 and leg in 2012 – and this year I was only able to get back on the bike at the end of February. I’m convinced that if I have a good winter programme 2014 will be different; this year I got one podium in France, but I’m sure that if I start the season fully prepared I will fight for the podium nearly every weekend.”

Harrie Van Hout (MX2 Manager): “It will be a big challenge to have three riders in the team, but we’re ready for it and it’s great to have three riders who can score top results. This year has been tough with the injury of Arnaud, so we’ve worked mainly with Alessandro who is still learning and improving each week. We now know each other better and for sure we’ll start next season on a higher base; we’ll start to work with Arnaud next week, so he will have time to be fully prepared for next season. Concerning Dylan we’ll start working together in November when his current contract expires, and we’ll have a strong winter programme to prepare with our riders for next year. In January we’ll start the season in the south of France, Spain or Sardinia, we need to do a rigorous testing programme in good conditions. Working with three riders will be different, but I’m sure that we can handle it.”

Harry Nolte (MX1 Manager): “We learnt a lot in our first season with Tommy in the MX1 class, and for sure this experience will help us in the future. Tommy spent some time in the US last winter, and in the end that didn’t help us to prepare for the GP campaign because Tommy didn’t have much experience of the 450. We have seen how fast his results improved, and since mid-season he has been a regular podium contender; he didn’t got one yet but that’s down to his lack of experience in the class, and some bad luck, but I’m sure that first podium will come very soon, here in Belgium or next week in England. Next year we’ll have full support from the Kawasaki factory, and for sure with the support of KHI and Pro Circuit we’ll be even stronger; Tommy also will have more experience, and I’m convinced that he will soon be as strong in MX1 as he was in the MX2 class.”

Steve Guttridge (Kawasaki Motors Europe Race Planning Manager): “I’m very confident that Tommy can make the next progression in his MX1 career next season; that is to make the podium regularly and fight for wins. Our MX2 line-up with the talented Dylan Ferrandis joining a more experienced Lupino and a fully fit Tonus will for sure bring Kawasaki some exciting results throughout next season.”
