MARVIN MUSQUIN SUFFERS TORN ACL
Murrieta, CA – pilota Red Bull KTM Marvin Musquin ha subito uno sfortunato infortunio durante gli allenamenti alla fine della scorsa settimana sulla pista di prova della KTM supercross.
La KTM Red Bull ha subito un ACL strappato in quella che in un primo momento sembrava essere un lieve infortunio quando ha messo il piede in un canale. Tuttavia, dopo aver consultato il suo medico a aver eseguito delle scansioni, ha mostrato che aveva effettivamente strappato l’ ACL, si sottoporrà quindi ad un intervento chirurgico in Francia entro questa settimana per farlo sistemare. L’intervento lo terrà lontano dalle corse all’inizio della serie Supercross 250SX East Coast come originariamente previsto.
“Si tratta di uno sfortunato infortunio, ma sappiamo che Marvin farà tutti i passaggi necessari per recuperare il più velocemente possibile e tornare quando è al 100 per cento”, ha commentato Red Bull KTM Team Manager Roger DeCoster.

Murrieta, CA – Red Bull KTM Factory rider Marvin Musquin suffered an unfortunate injury while practicing late last week at the KTM supercross test track.
The Red Bull KTM rider sustained a torn ACL in what at first seemed to be a minor injury when he put his foot down in a turn. However, after consulting his doctor scans showed he had actually torn his ACL and he will undergo surgery in France later this week to have it repaired. The surgery will keep him from racing the start of the East Coast Supercross 250SX series as he originally intended.
“This is an unfortunate injury, but we know Marvin will do the all steps necessary to recover as quickly as possible and come back when he is 100 percent,” commented Red Bull KTM Factory Team Manager Roger DeCoster.
