Gajser, Van De Moosdijk & Lancelot impostare il ritmo in Pacov
Pacov (Repubblica Ceca), 23 agosto 2014 – E ‘stata una giornata fantastica in Repubblica Ceca 2014 Motocross delle Nazioni europee, ha dato il via sul vecchio circuito scuola di Pacov. All’inizio di questa mattina la cerimonia di apertura, dove è stato introdotta ogni nazione. Dopo le presentazioni delle squadre, la selezione delle nazioni per ordine delle manche di qualificazione è stato prelevato a caso dal FIM Europe Presidente Dr. Wolfgang Srb.I primi a tuffarsi nella corsa sono stati gli EMX125 / 250 a scendere in pista a base di argilla che scorre con solo tre e mezzo sessioni prima dell’inizio delle manche di qualificazione, la pista era relativamente liscia ed è rmasta in perfette condizioni. Come previsto lo sloveno Tim Gajser ha dimostrato quanto sia eccezionale, correndo via con la prima vittoria del weekend davanti all’ italiano Michele Cervellin e a Vaclav Kovar eroe locale della Repubblica ceca.Il pilota olandese EMX85 Roan Van De Moosdijk guidò impeccabile dall’inizio alla fine per qualificarsi in pole per i Paesi Bassi, mentre per il San Marino Andrea Zanotti e per l’Italia di Paolo Lugana finiti rispettivamente secondo e terzo.

Per quanto riguarda le donne audaci del nostro sport, inizialmente è stata la giovane Nancy Van De Ven per i Paesi Bassi a comandare, ma fu presto superata dalla campionessa MXoEN e 2008 FIM Women Campione del Mondo di Motocross Livia Lancelot che batte bandiera per la nazione Francia. La recentemente incoronata FIM Women Campione del Mondo Motocross italiana Kiara Fontanesi si è resa la vita un po ‘difficile per se stessa al primo giro dopo che ha avuto un brutta partenza, ma ha finito con un ottima rimonta, rapidamente tagliò il traguardo per finire sulla scia della Lancelot in seconda. Van De Ven è riuscita a resistere per il terzo.

Per quanto riguarda i ‘Team’ nei risultati basati per oggi, gli italiani Michele Cervellin e Joakin Furbetta sono a conquistare il miglior punteggio combinato per la pole per il Motocross delle Nazioni europeo, mentre i Paesi Bassi siedono in seconda con Brian Bogers e Rene De Jong e i francesi Nicolas Dercourt eDavid Herbreteau completano i primi tre.

Risultati di squadra nel Motocross delle Nazioni europee Donne, l’Italia conduce con Kiara Fontanesi prendendo la seconda e Francesca Norcera prendendo il quinto, la Francia è seconda vicino con la ‘vittoria di Livia Lancelot e Justine Charroux’ al settimo, mentre i Paesi Bassi nei i primi tre con ‘impressionante terzo Nancy Van De Ven e il sesto di Marianne Veestra.

Dopo una grande giornata di prove e qualifiche tutti i piloti hanno colto l’occasione per ottenere nel loro cervello la pista, per ri-impostare la messa a fuoco per le gare di domani che vederà sia il lavoro di squadra così come i singoli sforzi ricompensati.

Gajser, Van De Moosdijk & Lancelot set the pace in Pacov
PACOV (Czech Republic), 23 August 2014 – It has been an awesome day in Czech Republic as the2014 Motocross of European Nations kicked off at the old school circuit of Pacov. Earlier this morning an opening ceremony was held trackside where each nation was introduced. Following the team presentations, the selection of nations for qualifying heat order was drawn at random by FIM Europe President Dr. Wolfgang Srb.Diving into the racing, the EMX125/250 were the first to take to the flowing clay based track and with only three thirty minute sessions prior to the commencement of the qualifying heats, the track was relatively smooth and remained in perfect condition. As expected Slovenian Tim Gajser proved just how exceptional he is, running away with the first victory of the weekend ahead of Italian Michele Cervellinand local hero Czech Republic’s own Vaclav Kovar.In the EMX85 Dutch rider Roan Van De Moosdijk rode flawless from start to finish to qualify on pole for The Netherlands while San Marino’s Andrea Zanotti and Italy’s Paolo Lugana finished second and third respectively.

As for the audacious ladies of our sport, initially in was the youngster Nancy Van De Ven riding for The Netherlands to lead but was soon overtaken by the defending MXoEN champion and 2008 FIM Women’s Motocross World Champion Livia Lancelot who was flying the flag high for her nation France. The recently crowned FIM Women’s Motocross World Champion Italian Kiara Fontanesimade life a little difficult for herself on the opening lap after she got off to a bad start but ended up making light work of her competition as she quickly sliced through the pack to finish hot on the heels of Lancelot in second. Van De Ven managed to hold on for third.

As for the ‘Team’ based results for today, the Italians Michele Cervellin and Joakin Furbetta leave with the best combined score to take pole for the Motocross of European Nations while The Netherlandssit second with Brian Bogers and Rene De Jong and France’s Nicolas Dercourt and David Herbreteau round out the top three.

Team results in the Women’s Motocross of European Nations category; Italy leads with Kiara Fontanesi taking second and Francessca Norcera taking fifth, France is running a close second withLivia Lancelot’s win and Justine Charroux’ seventh while The Netherlands rounds out the top three with Nancy Van De Ven’s impressive third and Marianne Veenstra’s sixth.

After a great day of practice and qualifying all the riders have taken the opportunity to get the track dialed and set in their brains as they re-set their focus to tomorrow’s races which will be see both team effort as well as individual efforts rewarded.
