Red Bull KTM Dean Wilson ha annunciato oggi su Instagram che ha subito un infortunio ACL e MCL ieri alla pista di prova KTM e verrà operato la prossima settimana. Nel suo primo anno con la KTM, e in 450SX, Wilson stava lottando a inizio della stagione, ma sembrava stesse andando meglio lo scorso fine settimana ad Anaheim, finendo ottavo.
Wilson ha pubblicato il seguente messaggio oggi:
Con i miei risultati stavo migliorando ero entusiasta di continuare a costruire i miei risultati migliori ogni fine settimana. Ieri è stato uno dei giorni più difficili che ho avuto nella mia carriera. Solo un normale allenamento del Giovedi nel bel mezzo della mia manche ho fatto un errore alla pista di prova Ktm. Sono così depresso e deluso a dire che ho strappato il mio ACL e MCL e avrò un intervento chirurgico la prossima settimana. Ieri mentre ero sulla strada per l’ospedale guardando fuori dalla finestra le montagne e mentre le guardavo pensavo a smettere e ottenere un lavoro vero e vivere una vita normale. Sembra proprio di essere in una situazione brutta e la delusione mi sta uccidendo come persona …. Ma io so che io sono in grado di raggiungere il meglio e quanto amo questo sport quando le cose vanno bene. Ma a volte può essere così crudele. Ho i migliori sponsor e le persone che non posso ringraziare abbastanza per darmi amore e il sostegno leale .. E grazie a tutti i miei fans per il sostegno. Vorrei poter correre questo fine settimana. Ma Dio ha un piano per me .. Thx
Wilson è attualmente quattordicesimo in classifica 450SX. Aggiorneremo questa storia appena sapremo di più.

Red Bull KTM’s Dean Wilson announced today on Instagram that he suffered a torn ACL and MCL yesterday at the KTM test track and will undergo surgery next week. In his first year with KTM, and in 450SX, Wilson had struggled early in the season, but looked much better last weekend in Anaheim, finishing eighth.

As my results havnt been the greatest I was excited to keep building my results better and better each weekend. Yesterday was one of the toughest days I have had in my career. Just a normal Thursday training in the middle of my Moto when I made a mistake at the Ktm test track. I am so gutted and disappointed to say that I have torn my ACL and MCL and will be getting surgery next week. Yesterday while I was on the way to the hospital looking out the window at the mountains I was contemplating on quitting and just get a real job and live a normal life. It just seems to be a continuos streak lately and the disappointment is just killing me as a person…. But I know how much I am capable of achieving and how much I love this sport when things are going good . But sometimes it can just be so cruel. I have the best sponsors and people that I can’t thank enough for there love and loyal support.. And thx to all my fans for the support to. I wish I could be racing this weekend. But god has another plan for me.. Thx
