Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Ready for Atlanta Round 2
Corona, Calif. (February 26, 2015) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy and Arnaud Tonus set for even better performances as the series returns again to Atlanta’s Georgia Dome this weekend.

Back Up Front
“I’m not too happy with tonight,” said Savatgy after last Saturday’s Atlanta 1 main event. “The heat race was great, but I couldn’t get the start in the main event and that’s frustrating. There is no excuse not to be up front off the start. I have the best bike possible and the best team and I want to put them up front where we belong.”
Joey Savatgy captured his first career podium in Dallas and won his first heat race last weekend in Atlanta, with a 5th in the main. He knows exactly what needs to be done this weekend for another podium and perhaps a win in the main. Savatgy will be fueled by rock solid confidence in his team and his KX250F.

“My bike was really good tonight, but I didn’t get to show that,” said Arnaud Tonus last weekend. “I got a bad start and had to double both triples on the first lap and when I jumped off the landing of the second one, Joey tripled and we came together. From there I just tried to pass as many riders as I could.”
Tonus has only two Monster Energy Supercross events under his belt in his rookie season in the States and has already shown his capability to lay down very quick times as well as finish up front in his heat races and in the main events. Tonus appears to be a quick study and is expected to make another great showing this Saturday in the George Dome.
