Martin Davalos salta St. Louis

Martin Davalos salterà il resto della Monster Energy Supercross per cercare di recuperare da Epstein-Barr. Quasi due settimane fa in un comunicato stampa è stato rivelato che Davalos era affetto dalla malattia. Ha corso lo scorso fine settimana a Detroit, ma si è scontrato con RJ Hampshire nel main e non poteva finire.

Ha rilasciato la seguente su Instagram oggi.

Depresso, non sarò in grado di correre St. Louis questo fine settimana, ma i medici mi hanno suggerito di stare a casa e ottenere una guarigione migliore così posso essere sano per la stagione National. E ‘abbastanza difficile andare là fuori ed essere competitivo, mentre se sei sano è un’altra storia a che fare con una malattia. E ‘stato un anno difficile che non ho mai sperimento quello che sto passando, ma spero di tornare e sentirmi bene presto.

Davalos, attualmente nono in punti 250SX, ha solo top riders davanti a se in questa stagione un anno dopo aver vinto. Ha vinto a St. Louis una stagione fa.

Martin Davalos Sidelined for St. Louis

Martin Davalos will miss the remainder of Monster Energy Supercross to try and recover from Epstein-Barr. Nearly two weeks ago in a team press release it was revealed that Davalos had been dealing with the illness. He raced the next weekend in Detroit, but collided with RJ Hampshire in the main and was unable to finish.

He released the following on Instagram today.

Bummed I won’t be able to race St. Louis this weekend but doctors suggested I stay home and get better so I can be healthy for outdoors. It’s hard enough to go out there and be competitive while ur healthy it’s another story to deal with an illness and race. It’s been a tough year I’ve never experience what I’m going thru but hope to get back to feeling good soon

Davalos, currently ninth in 250SX points, has just one top five this season a year after winning twice in the East Region. He won in St. Louis a season ago.
