Pietramurata (Trentino), 15 aprile 2015 – Gli italiani sono noti per la loro passione. Sì, è ampiamente accettato che essi fanno la migliore pizza del mondo. Lo stesso si può dire per la pasta, e se si chiede a qualcuno di loro, probabilmente garantisco che ospitano le migliori gare di motocross al mondo. Che è probabilmente vero dato che l’Italia ospita il nostro l’otto volte Campione del Mondo FIM Motocross Antonio Cairoli e ogni turno di MXGP non ha mai ospitato sul suolo italiano migliaia e migliaia di fedeli fan e appassionati che affollano i locali pronti a assistere la migliore serie motorsport off-road al mondo, il FIM Motocross World Championship.

Mentre la provincia del Trentino è così sorprendente e tipicamente tranquilla, come le Dolomiti fanno ombra sul circuito, che si trova in prossimità del Lago di Garda, Pietramurata sta per essere scossa in questo fine settimana, destinato a svilupparsi per la MXGP al quarto round.

Unendo nelle azioni anche le prime gare del Campionato Europeo EMX250, EMX125 e EMX150 che prenderanno il via, sta per essere qualcosa di speciale, anzi, le premier classi amatoriali EMX250 e EMX125 sono al pieno con 100 iscritti.

La trama comincia ad addensarsi! Mentre ci dirigiamo in questo fine settimana c’è ancora così tanto hype che circonda il più volte campione americano Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team Ryan Villopoto e il pilota di casa di questo fine settimana, il campione in carica della Red Bull MXGP KTM Factory Racing Antonio Cairoli. Mentre i fan continuano a mettere le loro fiches su questi due, rendono solo le vittorie più dolci per artisti del calibro di Rockstar Energy Suzuki Mondiale di MXGP Clement Desalle e Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing Max Nagl che hanno entrambi dimostrato di essere minacce solide per questa stagione.

A partire da Desalle, come il leader del campionato MXGP, il belga ha insaccato il suo primo venticinque all’ultimo giro in Argentina, ma è ancora alla ricerca di una vittoria complessiva. Il suo slancio è solido al momento; lui è super positivo e sta guidando veloce e impeccabile.

Max Nagl è quasi nella stessa barca. Mentre il pilota Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna factory in Thailandia non possiamo dimenticare che ha annientato tutti alla gara inaugurale della stagione in Qatar e solo autenticato il passo con il suo secondo gran premio generale in Argentina. L’anno scorso, qui a Pietramurata, il tedesco stava cercando solidità ed è riuscito a portare a casa un impressionante quarto assoluto.

Parlando di impressionante, le prestazioni del Team HRC Gautier Paulin su questo circuito lo scorso anno è stato incredibile. Un sacco di fans GP21 sono in attesa di vedere lo stand francese estremamente flamboyant sul podio quest’anno e data la sua velocità dello scorso anno, questo potrebbe essere il suo fine settimana.

E poi ci sono i nomi sulla bocca di tutti, Ryan Villopoto e Antonio Cairoli. A partire da RV, che sarà interessante vedere come si gestisce il suo primo appuntamento europeo della MXGP soprattutto con la maggior parte della folla che tifa per Tony. Non dubitiamo le capacità di Ryan di regolare e prendere il toro per le corna; ha dimostrato che le ultime gare, per non parlare nelle occasioni in cui ha gareggiato per la squadra USA al Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni. Se il pilota Kawasaki può lottare per la vittoria questo fine settimana l’atmosfera sarà fuori dal mondo.

Quanto a Tony, che è andato a dire che il circuito qui a Pietramurata non è uno dei suoi preferiti, ma ciò che rende un grande pilota Tony tale è che può accettare brutte giornate e andare avanti. Anche se Tony ha detto questo, sappiamo anche che ama i suoi fan e farà tutto quanto in suo potere per renderli orgogliosi, quindi se Tony può vincere in questo fine settimana, non sarà solo il suo primo MXGP complessivo dal GP del Belgio 2014, ma sarà un momento speciale per tutti coloro che sono venuti a fare il tifo per l’italiano.

Pietramurata potrebbe essere un circuito che si adatta al vincitore del Gran Premio della MX2 della Patagonia Argentina Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Dylan Ferrandis. Essendo francese, è sicuro di essere cresciuto su circuiti hard-pack con abbondanza e sarà un piacere per gli spettatori vedere qualcuno sfidare The Bullet, della Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jeffrey Herlings.

Intanto il giovane di Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Pauls Jonass cercherà di strappare un altro podio, mentre il suo compagno di squadra Jeffrey sarà senza dubbio in fila con un 1-1 sulla sua mente.

Possiamo anche guardare avanti per il ritorno di Monster Energy Kawasaki Jordi Tixier che avrà sicuramente voglia di riprendersi con una vendetta e festeggiare con una bottiglia di bollicine, mentre potrebbe essere sicuro di dire la sua Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube Valentin Guillod che sarà quello da guardare come negli ultimi anni il vincitore di manche di qualificazione, onestamente ha sostenuto con un solido 4-4 per un quarto assoluto, nonostante un paio di errori.

Fellow Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube pilota Julien Lieber può sempre essere classificato come un cavallo buono se riesce a tenere la moto su due ruote, mentre Jeremy Seewer di Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europa vorrà un altro assaggio della vita sul podio.

PIETRAMURATA PREPARED FOR AN EPIC ROUND OF MXGP

PIETRAMURATA (Trentino), 15 April 2015 – Italians are known for their passion. Yes, it is widely accepted that they do make the best pizza in the world. The same can be said for their pasta, and if you ask any of them, they’d probably vouch that they host the best motocross races in the world, too. Which is arguably true given Italy is home to our very own eight-time FIM Motocross World Champion Antonio Cairoli and every round of MXGP to have ever been hosted on Italian soil has seen thousands upon thousands of loyal and passionate fans flock to the venues ready to witness the best off-road motorsport series in the world, the FIM Motocross World Championship. While the province of Trentino is so stunning and typically tranquil as the Dolomite mountains shadow the circuit, which lies in close proximity to Lake Garda, Pietramurata is going to be shaken up this weekend by the epicness that is bound to unfold for MXGP round four. Also joining in on the bar bashing action, the first rounds of the European Championship EMX250, EMX125and EMX150 will kick off, which is going to be something special indeed with both premier amateur classes EMX250 and EMX125 both full at 100 entries. The plot is starting to thicken! As we head into this weekend there is still so much hype surrounding the multi-time American champ Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Ryan Villopoto and this weekend’s home rider, the defending MXGP champion Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Antonio Cairoli. While bench racers continue to place their chips on these two, it just makes the victories sweeter for likes of Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MXGP’s Clement Desalle and Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Max Nagl who have both proved to be solid threats for this seasons crown. Starting with Desalle, as the MXGP championship leader, the Belgian bagged his first twenty-fiver at the last round in Argentina but is still looking for an overall victory. His momentum is solid at the moment; he is super positive and is riding fast and flawless. Max Nagl is almost in the same boat. While the Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory rider had an off round in Thailand we can’t forget he annihilated everyone at the season opener in Qatar and just authenticated his pace with his second grand prix overall in Argentina. Last year, here in Pietramurata, the German was also looking solid and managed to take home an impressive fourth overall. Speaking of impressive, Team HRC’s Gautier Paulin’s performance at this circuit last year was incredible. A lot of GP21 fans are waiting to see the extremely flamboyant Frenchman stand on the box this year and given his speed last year, this might be his weekend. And then there are the names on everybody’s lips, Ryan Villopoto and Antonio Cairoli. Starting with RV, it is going to be interesting to see how he handles his first European round of MXGP especially with the majority of the crowd rooting for Tony. We don’t doubt Ryan’s ability to adjust and take the bull by the horns; he has proven it at the last few rounds, not to mention on the occasions in which he has raced for team USA at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations. If the Kawasaki rider can challenge for the victory this weekend the atmosphere is going to be out of this world electric. As for Tony, he has gone on record to say that the circuit here in Pietramurata is not one of his favorites, but what makes Tony such a great rider is he can accept bad days and just move forward. Although Tony has said this, we also know he loves his fans and he will do everything in his power to make them proud, therefore if Tony can win this weekend, it will not only be his first MXGP overall since MXGP of Belgium 2014, but it will be a special moment for everyone who has come out to cheer for the fun loving Italian.
