Gautier Paulin: “E ‘molto speciale stare in piedi sul podio con tutti i tifosi a cantare l’inno nazionale è qualcosa che non si può comprare. E ‘qualcosa che solo una vittoria può dare. Sono davvero felice di sentire che anche oggi è successo qualcosa di veramente cool e questo è quello che facciamo tutti con il lavoro. Voglio ringraziare tutta la squadra perché tutti credono in quello che possiamo fare, e poiché ad Arco le cose stavano davvero iniziando a venire insieme, ho tanto piacere per questa vittoria. E ‘stata una grande gara, soprattutto quando si domina il weekend – vittoria di qualifica, gara 1 vittoria, gara 2 vittoria – è solo stato un weekend perfetto “.

Max Nagl: “Questa stagione continua a migliorare in meglio. E ‘il mio quarto podio in cinque gare e lascio questo fine settimana con il primato in classifica di campionato. Ad essere onesto Sabato non è stata una buona giornata per me. Non mi sentivo bene con la mia guida, ma la mia squadra ha lavorato incredibilmente duro per trovare il miglior set up per questa pista e in gara la mia fiducia era tornata. Non posso ringraziarli abbastanza per questo. In gara uno ho solo guidato in maniera intelligente e fatto in modo di non cadere per non prendere il secondo. La mia partenza non è stata buona in gara due, ma sono stato in grado di lavorare per procedere e per finire secondo. Un altro podio e ora la tabella rossa del campionato rende ancora un altro grande fine settimana di gare. ”

Clement Desalle: “Essere sul podio oggi è OK. Sono rimasto deluso per la mia caduta di ieri. Sapevo che sarebbe stato un weekend difficile, quindi sono orgoglioso di questo podio e ci si sente bene visto che è tanto che non si corre nella sabbia. Mi dà un po ‘di fiducia e dimostra che la mia condizione è buona. E ‘davvero importante essere sul podio ogni settimana e mantenersi alto in classifica. La stagione è ancora giovane e ora ci stiamo avvicinando ad alcuni ottime piste e spero che avremo qualche buona corsa “.

Jeffrey Herlings: “E ‘bello aver vinto di nuovo qui, ma la sesta volta non è stato facile. Ho avuto un buon inizio nella prima manche e sono rimasto fuori dai guai. Ma non ho avuto una buona partenza nella seconda manche. Ho avuto un piccolo incidente e ho dovuto tornare dal centro del gruppo. Così è stato un po ‘difficile per me. Ma ho lavorato la mia strada fino ad arrivare davanti e ho vinto, così che era buono. ”

Jordi Tixier: “E ‘bello avere un secondo podio consecutivo dopo l’Italia lo scorso fine settimana. Sono tornato e felice di essere lì, naturalmente, dopo una dura prima parte della stagione. Le mie partenze erano entrambi piuttosto buone questo fine settimana, e sono stato in grado di correre per il podio in entrambe le gare. Aleksandr Tonkov: “Sono così felice di aver preso il mio primo podio della stagione e il primo per il nuovo FC 250 Factory Racing Husqvarna. Iniziare bene era molto importante e sono stato in grado di prendere l’holeshot in entrambe le gare, più la gara di qualificazione. Dylan Ferrandis: “Questo fine settimana abbiamo faticato con le regolazioni delle sospensioni, e non ho mai sentito a mio agio su questa pista. Sono quasi caduto il Sabato durante la gara di qualificazione, e oggi non ho spinto più forte che potevo a causa di questo. Nella seconda gara ho trovato un forte ritmo negli ultimi quindici minuti, e ha preso il quarto posto quando ho passato Jonass; Ero più veloce di lui, ma ha cercato di spingermi, così ho messo la gamba tra di noi per evitare qualsiasi contatto. Ho finito la gara al terzo posto, ma i funzionari mi ha dato una penalità di dieci posizioni, così ho perso punti e un podio. A mio parere l’atteggiamento di Jonass era pericoloso, eravamo a tutta velocità, e ho difficoltà a capire questa pena “.

Evgeny Bobryshev: “Ad essere sinceri, era un weekend difficile per me e io sono molto contento di questo. Ho compresso la mia schiena Mercoledì scorso quindi abbiamo lavorato con il fisioterapista della squadra per tutto il weekend e stavo combattendo attraverso il dolore. Ma il risultato finale è stato davvero buono. Ho perso il podio per poco, ma ho fatto buoni punti e continuato a stare su due ruote, perché la pista era davvero difficile e molti piloti si sono schiantati. Sono davvero felice che abbiamo lavorato molto e migliorato la moto molto, mi piacerebbe anche congratularmi con tutta la squadra per la vittoria di Gautier, tutti meritiamo questo. ”

Antonio Cairoli: “Sono caduto da un salto nella prima manche e ho colpito la mia testa un po ‘, e il polso, ma per fortuna nulla di male. Nella seconda manche sono partito bene, ma dopo pochi giri ho avuto una strana sensazione alla mano e per la maggior parte dei 25 minuti ho potuto guidare con una sola mano. Era molto rischioso in alcuni punti e molto difficile. Non penso sia nulla di grave, ma stiamo andando a controllare e abbiamo un paio di settimane di riposo “.

Shaun Simpson: “L’obiettivo di questo fine settimana è stato quello di venire via con trenta punti e ne abbiamo ottenuti trentuno e la nostra prima top five dell’anno, cosa che abbiamo fatto. Siamo stati anche la prima KTM in entrambe le manche. Non c’era Cairoli nel suo A-game e tutti nella seconda manche, ma per tenerlo dietro di me e anche andare via da lui qui non è un compito facile. Nel complesso sono abbastanza soddisfatto. ”

Ken De Dycker: “Ho avuto dolore ovunque, nelle mie articolazioni e muscoli, non è stato divertente da guidare in queste condizioni. Credo di poter essere pronto per la Spagna e se ho una buona partenza posso fare una bella gara. Sono fiducioso. ”

Tommy Searle: “Sapevo che questa settimana non ero pronto per questa gara. Nella seconda manche ho avuto una partenza migliore e ho trovato un po ‘di lotta in me, e più fiducia. Quindi lascio questo fine settimana molto felice. Il mio obiettivo era quello di finire entrambe le gare e ottenere alcuni punti. Ero con il gruppo di piloti davanti, i miei tempi erano buoni e forti in modo da poter partire con la mia testa. ”

Pauls Jonass: “Ho avuto un buon inizio nella prima gara ed ero in terza posizione al secondo giro. Poi ho fatto un errore, mi sono schiantato duro e avevo male alla testa un po ‘. Ero pronto ad andare in gara, ma non mi sentivo bene. Non avevo forza e, alla fine, ho faticato a finire la gara “.

Glenn Coldenhoff: “Oggi è stato tutto buono; Alla fine ho fatto due manche nella top 10. Iniziare bene era importante oggi e la prima manche ero messo abbastanza bene. Ho faticato un po ‘con le braccia dure ed ero stanco di spalle, così abbiamo cambiato alcune impostazioni sulla moto ed è stato sicuramente meglio per la seconda manche. Mi sentivo bene … ma la mia partenza è stata pessima! Ho dovuto pagare duramente e non potevo passare Tommy. Ho fatto un passaggio un po ‘troppo aggressivo e ho avuto un piccolo incidente. Romain Febvre: “Ho fatto un errore nel primo giro della prima gara ed ero ultimo. Sono tornato alla decima e la mia velocità era davvero buona, ma avrei dovuto essere tra i primi cinque. Sono davvero deluso con la caduta, ma devo prendermela con me stesso. Nella seconda manche ho preso l’holeshot e finito quinto, che non è così buono. Mi ci sono voluti dieci minuti per trovare il feeling e ottenere alcune buoni linee. Il quinto posto è molto bello … ma quando si prende l’holeshot è necessario stare davanti. Abbiamo in programma di fare un po ‘di test la prossima settimana e guidare su piste dure di sicuro perché abbiamo la Spagna il prossimo GP e poi nel Regno Unito e in Francia. Abbiamo bisogno di giri sul Hard-pack. Sono davvero contento del miglioramento che abbiamo fatto per le nostre partenze e il team ha fatto un ottimo lavoro. ”

D’altra parte per noi con Andrea, che ha preso i suoi primi punti del Campionato Europeo, siamo contenti e stiamo spingendo per questo, in modo che sia un successo per la squadra “.

Jeremy Seewer: Sapevo che sarebbe stato un weekend difficile per me, perché la pista era ‘un pò strana. Ho passato la maggior parte dell’inverno nella sabbia, ma questo era qualcosa di diverso; molto duro sotto con grandi “kickers. ‘non mi sento a mio agio sulla moto ed ero un po’ incerto. Piccoli errori possono portare a grandi incidenti. La partenza della prima manche era abbastanza buona, ma non appena la mia forza ha cominciato ad andarsene mi sono sentito come se stavo prendendo rischi, così ho ridotto al minimo, diminuendo le cose stupide ed evitato una brutta caduta. Sono tornato al nono posto. Un inizio molto migliore nella seconda manche ma la gara è stata simile alla prima. Non stavo davvero spingendo in avanti ed è stato difficile. Generale Settimo non è male in un GP in cui non mi sentivo bene. Ora andiamo sull’ hard-pack e voglio divertirmi sulla moto di nuovo. Ho bisogno di lavorare un po ‘di più in queste condizioni. ”

Todd Waters: “Il weekend è iniziato un po ‘agitato quando ho preso un colpo pesante in qualifica. Stavo guidando bene, chiudendo in su al dieci posto fino a quando sono caduto fuori il lato della pista e ho colpito il recinto. Un male incredibile alla spalla, ma non ho mollato. Con una bendatura per il giorno della gara stava per essere un lavoro duro, ma a tornare dalla 14esima posizione in ogni gara è stato uno sforzo di recupero decente. ”

Dean Ferris: “Questo fine settimana abbiamo fatto un altro passo in avanti. Su una pista che era difficile sono riuscito a mettere una buona guida e buone linee nella serie, soprattutto in gara due. Sono caduto alla seconda curva ed ero ultimo per rimontare, ma una volta che ho cominciato ad andare ho trovato il mio ritmo e raggiunsi il gruppo abbastanza rapidamente. Sono riuscito a passare oltre la metà campo entro la metà di gara e poi ho preso un altro paio di piloti verso la fine della gara per finire 13 ° “.

Tyla Rattray: “Sapevo che sarebbe stato un weekend difficile per venire qui, siccome sono caduto lo scorso fine settimana e non ho corso ad Arco. Non ero in grado di fare il mio normale allenamento questa settimana, ma sono felice di avere un sesto posto assoluto qui a Valkenswaard. E ‘stato un weekend difficile; la pista era veramente dura con tante linee e buche ed era molto irregolare. Xavier Boog: “Sapevo prima di venire qui che sarebbe stato difficile su questa pista, ma ho fatto del mio meglio per finire entrambe le gare nella top quindici. E’ stato un fine settimana migliore dell’ Italia, anche se mi sono qualificato troppo indietro per aver un buon cancello sulla griglia. La pista era molto rovinata, con molti dossi, e di sicuro Talavera tra due settimane si adatta meglio a me. Ma prima di andare lì difenderò la mia tabella rossa nella penultima prova del campionato Elite francese Plomion il prossimo fine settimana. ”

Max Anstie: “Per tutto il weekend siamo stati solidi, un po ‘meglio rispetto alla scorsa settimana in Italia per essere onesti. Ho fatto una corsa solida, giri solidi e la prima gara è stata davvero buona, anche se non ho mai sentito che stavo spingendo al massimo ma la sensazione era bella! Purtroppo abbiamo avuto alcuni problemi con la moto nella seconda manche e ho dovuto ritirarmi, so che tutto il team sta lavorando sodo; la prossima settimana corriamo il campionato britannico per preparare il GP di Spagna. ”

Thomas Covington: “La pista non era davvero sabbiosa, ma era molto smossa e rovinata, con grandi solchi prima di alcuni salti; era molto più difficile rispetto allo scorso anno. Ad essere onesti avevo un po ‘paura in pista il Sabato, oggi ho rimbalzato un po’ e ha ottenuto un quattordicesimo e un tredicesimo posto. Non è troppo buono, ma neanche troppo male per me nella sabbia, ora sto guardando avanti per essere nuovamente pronto per l’hardpack in Spagna. ”

Petar Petrov: “Non sono troppo felice. La prima gara è andata bene e ho avuto un buon feeling con la pista e con la moto, ma le probabilità di un buon weekend sono scomparse nella seconda manche, quando abbiamo avuto un problema tecnico. Abbiamo solo bisogno di tutto per mettere insieme lo stesso fine settimana e penso di poter essere dove è giusto che sia in classifica. E ‘frustrante avere problemi, ma dobbiamo guardare avanti. ”

Gautier Paulin: “It is very special and standing on the podium with all the fans singing the national anthem is something you cannot buy. It’s something that just a win can bring. I’m really happy to feel that again today as it is something really really cool and this is what we do all the work for. I want to thank all the crew because they all believe in what we can do, and since Arco we can things are really starting to come together so I have so much pleasure from this win. It’s been a great race, especially when you dominate the weekend – qualifying win, first moto win, second moto win – it’s just been a perfect weekend.”

Max Nagl: “This season just keeps getting better and better. It’s my fourth podium result in five races and I leave this weekend with the lead in the championship standings. If I’m honest Saturday was not a good day for me. I didn’t feel good in my riding but my team worked incredibly hard to find the best setup for this track and on race day my confidence was back. I can’t thank them enough for that. In race one I just rode smart and made sure I didn’t crash to take second. My start wasn’t so good in race two but I was able to work my way forward to finish second. Another podium result and now the red plate in the championship makes it yet another great weekend of racing.”

Clement Desalle: “Being on the podium today is OK. I was disappointed about my crash yesterday. I knew it would be a difficult weekend so I am proud of this podium and it feels like quite a while since I had one in the sand. It gives me some confidence and shows that my condition is good. It is really important to be on the podium every week and it keeps you high in the standings. The year is still young and now we are coming up to some really good tracks and I hope we will have some good racing.”

Jeffrey Herlings: “It’s good to have won here again but the sixth time it wasn’t easy. I had a pretty good start in the first moto and stayed out of trouble. But I didn’t have a good start in the second moto. I had a small crash and I had to come back from the middle of the pack. So I made it a little tough for myself. But I worked my way up to front and won, so that was good.”

Aleksandr Tonkov: “I’m so happy to have taken my first podium result of the season and the first for the new FC 250 factory racing Husqvarna. It’s been an incredible weekend and one where I felt very comfortable on the track. Starts were very important and I was able to take the holeshot in both races plus the qualification race. I felt strong during race two and held my own lines on a tough track. I’m so happy with this result. My team, my trainer and everyone that supports me work very hard. It’s great to reward them with this result.”

Jordi Tixier: “It’s great to have a second podium in a row after Italy last weekend. I’m back and happy to be there of course after a tough first part of season. My starts were both pretty good this weekend, and I was able to race for the podium in both races. In the second moto I lost some engine power during the last ten minutes so I had no chance to fight with Tonkov for the second position, but my confidence is back and a big thanks to the work of the team; I’m very pleased with our set-up so I hope these two podiums are just the beginning of a long series.”

Dylan Ferrandis: “This weekend we struggled with the suspension settings, and I never felt comfortable on this track. I nearly crashed hard on Saturday during the qualifying race, and today I didn’t push as hard as I could because of this. In the second race I found a strong rhythm in the last fifteen minutes, and took fourth place when I passed Jonass; I was faster than him but he tried to push me, so I put my leg between us to prevent any contact. I finished the race in third place but the officials gave me a penalty of ten places, so I lost points and a podium result. In my opinion the attitude of Jonass was dangerous as we were full speed, and I find it difficult to understand this penalty.”

Evgeny Bobryshev: “To be honest it was a tough weekend for me and I’m really happy with this. I compressed my back last Wednesday so we’ve been working with the team physio all weekend and I was fighting through the pain. But the final result was really good. I missed the podium by a little, but I call it good points and just kept it on two wheels because the track was really tough and many riders crashed. I’m really happy as we have been working a lot and improved the bike a lot, and I’d also like to congratulate all the team for the victory with Gautier as everyone really deserves this.”

Antonio Cairoli: “I came off on one jump in the first moto and I hit my head a bit, and my wrist, but luckily nothing bad. In the second moto I started well, but after a few laps I got a strange feeling in my hand and for most of the 25 minutes I could only ride with one hand. It was very risky in some places and very difficult. I don’t think it’s anything serious but we are going to check and we have a couple of weeks to rest.”

Shaun Simpson: “The goal this weekend was to come away with thirty points and we got thirty-one and our first top five of the year, which we did. We were also the first KTM in both motos. Not that Cairoli was on his A-game at all in the second moto but to keep him behind me and even pull away from him around here is no mean task. Overall I’m pretty satisfied.”

Kenny De Dycker: “I had pain everywhere, in my joints and muscles and it was no fun to ride in this condition. I believe I can be ready for Spain and if I have a good start I can have a good race. I am confident.”

Tommy Searle: “I knew this week that I wasn’t ready for this race. In the second moto I got a better start and I found some fight in me, and more confidence. So I am leaving this weekend very happy. My goal was to finish both races and get some points. I was with the main group of riders, my times were good and strong so I can leave with my head up.”

Pauls Jonass: “I got a pretty good start in the first race and I was in third in the second lap. Then I made a mistake, crashed hard and hurt my head a bit. I was ready to go in the second race but I didn’t feel good. I had no power and in the end I struggled to finish the race.”

Glenn Coldenhoff: “Today was alright; I finally made two motos in the top 10. Starts were important today and the first moto was pretty good. I struggled a little with arm-pump and was tired in my shoulders, so we changed some settings on the bike and it was definitely better for the second moto. I felt good…but my start was bad! I had to charge hard and couldn’t pass Tommy. I got a bit too aggressive and had a very small crash. I then had eight seconds to catch up and there were a lot of flags out so it was difficult to make up time. Overall, it was good and I reached my goal…even if I did expect a bit more at my home Grand Prix.”

Romain Febvre: “I made a mistake on the first lap of the first race and was last. I came back to tenth and my speed was really good but I should have been in the top five. I’m really disappointed with the crash but I have only myself to blame. In the second heat I took the holeshot and finished fifth, and that is not so good either. It took me ten minutes to find my feeling and get some good lines. Fifth place is quite nice…but when you take the holeshot you need to stay at the front. We plan to do some testing next week and ride on hard pack for sure because we have Spain next and then UK and to France. We need laps on the hard-pack. I’m really happy about the improvement we made for our starts and the team did a great job.”

David Philippaerts: “It was a tough race and the track was difficult to handle in the first moto with many kickers and bumps on the jumps. It was pretty crazy. I had a big crash in the same place as some other riders and hurt my right hand and my neck a little bit. A shame because my speed was pretty good and I was right with Simpson. On the other side for us Andrea took his first European Championship points and we’ve been pushing for this, so that is an achievement for the team.”

Jeremy Seewer: I knew it would be a tough weekend for me because the track was ‘kinda strange. I spent most of the winter in the sand but this was something else; very hard underneath with big ‘kickers.’ I didn’t feel comfortable on the bike and was a little unsure. Small mistakes could lead to big crashes. The start of the first moto was pretty good but as soon as my strength started to go I felt like I was taking risks so I minimized what I felt were stupid things and avoided a big crash. I went back to ninth. A much better start in the second moto but the race was similar to the first. I wasn’t really pushing forward and it was tough. Seventh overall is not too bad at a GP where I was not feeling good. Onto hard-pack and I want to enjoy myself on the bike again now. I need to work a bit more in these conditions.”

Todd Waters: “The weekend started out a bit rough when I took a heavy hit in qualifying. I was riding well, closing in on a top ten spot until I crashed off the side of the track and hit a fence. That hurt quite a bit especially my shoulder but I soldiered on. With a bad gate pick for race day it was going to be tough but coming back for 14th in each race was a decent recovery effort.”

Dean Ferris: “This weekend was another step forward. On a track was that was proper tough I managed to put in some of my best riding of the series, particularly in race two. I crashed in the second corner and was last to remount but once I got going I found my rhythm and caught up to the pack quite quickly. I managed to pass over half the field by mid distance and then picked off another few riders towards the end of the race to finish 13th.”

Brian Hsu: “Today was OK; especially because qualification was bad! I crashed twice because our suspension setting was off. We made some changes but both groups together meant I was 24th in the gate and my start was not so good because being that far out pushed me away from the corner! I was around 20th and fought up to fifth. I was charging hard but four laps from the end I got some arm-pump and dropped back to eighth. The second moto was a little similar but the start was worse. I went up to 10th and got stuck there. The bike worked much better and I could feel the bumps a lot more. We go to Spain now and I’ve never been there but I’ve heard it is a hard and technical track.”

Bas Vaessen: “I had a bad qualifying practice so my starts were not good. I could still work my way up to the top-10 with fast lap-times. I was happy with my speed but I came-up a bit short. I broke my thumb recently and only had two weeks in the sand and just two days before Arco. I went there not knowing what would happen but being back in the sand helped to bring my confidence up.”

Tyla Rattray: “I knew that it would be a tough weekend coming here, as I crashed last weekend and didn’t raced in Arco. I was not able to do my normal training this week, but I’m happy to get a sixth overall here in Valkenswaard. It was a tough weekend; the track was really rough with so many classes on the programme and it was very bumpy. The team has been working hard again this week, and we’ll keep pushing forward before Spain. The team put a lot of work in and the injury of Ryan was bad news for us, but that’s racing. But we will keep working; we’ve got one weekend off and we’ll go practicing on hard pack to prepare for Talavera.”

Xavier Boog: “I knew before coming here that it would be difficult on this track, but I did my best to finish both races in the top fifteen. It was a better weekend than Italy, even if I qualified too far back to have a good gate on the grid. The track was really rough, with many bumps, and for sure Talavera in two weeks time will suit me better. But before we go there I will defend my red plate in the penultimate round of the French Elite Championship at Plomion next weekend.“

Max Anstie: “All weekend we’ve been solid, a little bit better than last week in Italy to be honest. I did solid ride, solid laps and the first race was really good even if I never felt I was pushing hard so the feeling was nice! Unfortunately we had some troubles with the bike in the second moto and I had to retire, but I know that everyone in the team is working hard; it’s the way it is and next week we’ll race the British championship to prepare the Spanish GP.”

Thomas Covington: “The track wasn’t really sand, but very rough with big ruts before some of the jumps; it was a lot more difficult than last year. To be honest I was a little scared on the track on Saturday, but today I rebounded a little and scored a fourteenth and a thirteenth position. It’s not too great but also not too bad for me in the sand, and I’m now looking ahead to be back on hardpack in Spain.”

Petar Petrov: “I’m not too happy. The first race went well and I had a good feeling on the track and with the bike but the chances of a good weekend disappeared in the second moto when we had a technical problem. We just need everything to come together on the same weekend and I think I can be where I belong in the standings. It is frustrating to have troubles but we have to look ahead.”
