Funchal (Portogallo), 8 ottobre 2015 – La Commissione dei Grand Prix di Motocross, composta dai signori Giuseppe Luongo, presidente Youthstream, Tony Skillington, direttore del CMS / FIM e Takanao Tsubouchi, Segretario Generale Moto Sport Manufacturers’Association (MSMA), si sono incontrati ad Ernée (Francia) il 28 settembre.

La Commissione dei GP di Motocross Grand ha adottato a maggioranza le seguenti modifiche ai Regolamenti 2016:

• Tutti i Riders avranno la possibilità di utilizzare una seconda moto dopo il giro di allineamento.
• Nel caso in cui una gara viene interrotta dopo che almeno due giri sono stati completati e prima che sia trascorso il 51% del tempo della corsa, ci sarà una ripartenza dai box. I Riders partiranno in ordine delle loro posizioni nel giro precedente l’arresto della gara. La gara continuerà per il tempo rimanente nel momento in cui il leader ha completato il giro precedente l’arresto della gara.
• Nella MXGP e MX2 le gare di qualifica, non saranno solo a decidere le posizioni di partenza per le gare, ma daranno anche punti premio (posizione 1: 5 punti; Pos 2: 4 punti; pos 3: 3 punti; pos. 4: 2 pt; pos . 5:. 1 pt) Il vincitore assoluto della manifestazione sarà il pilota che ha ottenuto il maggior numero di punti dopo che i punti della Qualifying Race più Gara 1 e Gara 2 sono stati aggiunti, indipendentemente dal numero di gare concluse.

FUNCHAL (Portugal), 8 October 2015 – The Motocross Grand Prix Commission, composed of Messrs Giuseppe Luongo, President of Youthstream, Tony Skillington, Director of the CMS/FIM and Takanao Tsubouchi, Motorcycle Sport Manufacturers’Association (MSMA) Secretary General, met in Ernée (France) on 28 September.

The Motocross Grand Prix Commission adopted by a majority the following changes to the 2016 Regulations:

• Riders will have the possibility to use a second motorcycle after the sighting lap.
• In the event that a race is stopped after at least two laps have been completed and before 51% of the racing time has elapsed, there will be a re-start from the pit lane. Riders will start in order of their positions in the lap preceding the stopping of the race. The race will be continued for the time remaining at the moment the leader completed the lap preceding the stopping of the race.
•  The MXGP and MX2 Qualifying Races will not only decide on the starting positions for the Races but also award points (Position 1: 5 points; pos. 2: 4 pts; pos. 3: 3 pts; pos. 4: 2 pts; pos. 5: 1 pt). The overall winner of the event will be the rider who gained the highest number of points after the points from the Qualifying Race, Race 1 and Race 2 have been added, irrespective of the number of Races he finished.
