Butler Brothers MX e Rocky Mountain ATV / MC hanno chiuso un accordo pluriennale che vedrà Rocky Mountain ATV / MC come il title sponsor della nuova squadra Rocky Mountain ATV / MC-KTM-WPS. Forrest Butler (BBMX) continuerà a servire come proprietario la squadra. La squadra era precedentemente conosciuta come BTOSports.com-WPS-KTM.
Il team ha anche annunciato oggi di aver firmato con Davi Millsaps, Blake Baggett, e Benny Bloss per la stagione 2017.
Millsaps, che ha corso Monster Energy Supercross per la squadra nel 2016 prima di passare al national canadese dove ha vinto il titolo MX1, correrà sia Lucas Oil Pro Motocross e Supercross Monster Energy per la squadra. Baggett si stacca dal team Yoshimura Suzuki ormai chiuso. L’ex campione 250MX ha perso la maggior parte del Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship la scorsa stagione a causa di lesioni alla spalla.
La squadra riporta anche l’AMA MX Rookie of the Year 2016, Benny Bloss. Il vincitore 2015 Horizon Award correrà nella Classe 250 al supercross, prima di passare alla 450 per il National. Bloss iniziò il suo contratto con la squadra nel 2016 come un fill-in durante Supercross prima di stare a tempo pieno per il National, dove si è piazzato sesto assoluto.

Butler Brothers MX and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC have agreed to a multi-year deal which will see Rocky Mountain ATV/MC serve as the title sponsor of the new Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS team. Forrest Butler (BBMX) will continue to serve as owner of the team. The team was previously known as BTOSports.com-WPS-KTM.
The team also announced today that they have signed Davi Millsaps, Blake Baggett, and Benny Bloss for the 2017 season.
Millsaps, who rode Monster Energy Supercross for the team in 2016 before moving to the Canadian Nationals where he won the MX1 title, will ride both Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and Monster Energy Supercross for the team. Baggett moves over from the now-closed Yoshimura Suzuki team. The former 250MX champion missed most of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this past season due to shoulder injuries.
The team will also bring back the 2016 AMA MX Rookie of the Year, Benny Bloss. The 2015 Horizon Award winner will ride the 250 Class in supercross, before transitioning to the 450 for the Nationals. Bloss initially began his tenure with the team in 2016 as a fill-in during supercross before staying on full-time for the Nationals, where he finished sixth overall.
