Honda reveals revitalised Assomotor Honda team for 2017 MXGP season, welcoming Valentin Guillod and Mathys Boisramè
Valentin Guillod si unisce a Assomotor Honda in MXGP, gareggerà al fianco di Alessandro Lupino sulla Honda CRF450R, Mathys Boisramè si unisce ad Alberto Forato a Assomotor Honda Junior in EMX250
Honda ha un grande piacere di annunciare la partnership con il team Assomotor Honda per il 2017, schierati nel Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM MXGP, la rinnovata e competitiva line-up.
Valentin Guillod si unisce alla Honda, lo svizzero porterà la tenacia e la velocità che ha mostrato quest’anno sulla CRF450R nel 2017, sulla base di un anno da rookie nella classe regina che lo ha visto prendere un terzo nella manche di apertura al GP di Gran Bretagna il suo modo di finire al nono posto in classifica generale, un anno dopo essere stato in lizza per il campionato del mondo MX2 nel 2015.
Alessandro Lupino ha corso per il team Assomotor Honda nel 2016, e anche se la sua stagione è stata rovinata da un infortunio, ha preso il titolo di Campione Italiano MX1 per la seconda volta consecutiva a bordo della CRF450R.
Nel 2016, il team manager Alfredo Bevilacqua ha avviato il team Assomotor Honda Junior, e nel 2017 Alberto Forato rimane ed è affiancato da Mathys Boisramè. Forato ha preso l’ MX2 Under 21 nel campionato italiano di quest’anno, e si unisce Boisramè ad Honda dopo una stagione EMX250 in cui ha preso un quarto in Spagna e un altro quarto in Francia, così come il titolo nel campionato francese Elite MX2.

Honda has great pleasure in announcing the partnership with the Assomotor Honda team for 2017, competing in the MXGP FIM Motocross World Championship, and a renewed and competitive rider line-up.
Valentin Guillod joins the Honda stable, and the Swiss will bring the tenacity and speed he showed this year to the CRF450R in 2017, building upon a rookie year in the big-capacity class which saw him take a third in the opening moto at the MXGP of Great Britain on his way to finishing the championship ninth overall, one year after being in contention for the 2015 MX2 World Championship.
Alessandro Lupino raced for the Assomotor Honda team in 2016, and although his MXGP season was blighted by injury, he took the Italian MX1 Championship title for the second time in succession aboard the CRF450R.
In 2016, Team Manager Alfredo Bevilacqua started the Assomotor Honda Junior team, and in 2017 Alberto Forato remains and is joined by Mathys Boisramè. Forato took the MX2 Under 21 Italian Championship crown this year, and Boisramè joins Honda after an EMX250 season in which he took a fourth in Spain and another fourth in France, as well as the French Elite MX2 Championship title.
The Assomotor Team was founded in 1991 by Alfredo Bevilacqua, who himself competed in the Italian Enduro championship. The team’s relationship with Honda started in 2001.
In 2015 the team left Supermoto for motocross, and joined the MXGP championship with Alessandro Lupino and Kei Yamamoto. This year the Assomotor Honda Junior team was founded with Alberto Forato competing in the European and Italian Championships, and in 2017 the squad will compete in MXGP, the Swiss and Italian MXGP National Motocross Championships with Guillod and Lupino respectively, and the French and Italian MX2 National Motocross Championships with Boisramè and Forato.
